Devils Lake has over 100,000 acres of frozen water to ice fish. We use Garmin GPS handhelds to pinpoint our hotspots. Possibly moving several times a day, we use 2 person portable fish houses for mobility. All moving of fish houses and redrilling of holes is done by your guide.

Our job is successful when we get you on top of active feeding fish. We will keep moving until this success is achieved.

The different jig strategies and lure approach will be passed on to you by your guide. Many lure types and bait combinations are recommended to entice the bite. Noodle type rods or spring bobbers are used to see and feel even the lightest bite.

We will be ice fishing in water depths of 7 feet to 48 feet. Vexilar flasher locator will make your trip even more enjoyable.

Examples of lure types would be: Jigggin' Rapalas, Rattlesnakies, Genz Worms and Fatboys, Kastmasters, and Swedish Pimples. (Maybe adding a 3" dropline from the Kastmasters, Swedish Pimples, or Rattlesnakies), teardrop jigs, Ratfinks, Halis and Pilkys, and Northland Tackles, Forage Minnow are some examples.
